Description: The Rusco sediment filter uses centrifugal separation technology to filter sediment from water. This Rusco filter is made with a Chemically Resistant Screen filter. High temperature operation up to 200 deg. F (93 deg. C). The Rusco Chemically Resistant Sediment Filter is made by thermoplastic construction and has high chemical resistance. The Rusco systems have stainless steel reinforced 3/4" pipe connection. The Rusco Chemically Resistant filter screen is durable, cleanable and reusable. TheChemically Resistant Filterscan be used for Hydronic Heating Systems, Industrial Heat Exchangers, Cooling Tower Make Up & Evaporator Water, Domestic or Commercial Hot Water Heaters, and Industrial (Machine Coolant and Cutting Fluids). The Rusco Sediment Filter is designed to remove virtually all types of sediment, including shale, shell, debris, pipe scale, and sand/grit (course, fine, and very fine). The amount of sediment removed by the Rusco filter screen will depend on the micron rating of the filter screen. Smaller micron rated filter screens will remove smaller particles of sediment from your water. By removing larger sediment particles from your water, you are preserving the life of appliances and filter cartridges that may be installed after the Rusco sediment filter system.... more
